This is a well tumbled, stunning sage green piece of sea glass. We are always excited when we find an oval shaped piece of glass on the beach. Often they are fully, ball shaped marbles, which were blown to be in the necks of old bottles to serve as a valve stopper when the bottle is tipped. It could also be part of the kick-up on the base, inside a bottle. This one is particularly frosted by the constant friction of the glass over the pebbles and sand of the sea bed.
